The grand ducal family of Luxembourg had to hurry back from the royal birthday celebrations in Norway to meet with another royal on Thursday: the Duchess of Cambridge, who was visiting the grand duchy to mark the 150th anniversary of the 1867 Treaty of London.

Kate wore a familiar necklace and a new pair of earrings for the visit.

Here's a closer look at the earrings, which are by Kate's go-to jewelry designer, Kiki McDonough. They're the Blue Topaz and Diamond Drop Earrings, set in white gold. They retail on the company's website for £3,500.

Her necklace is one we've seen quite often: the Empress Mini Pendant by Mappin and Webb.

Kate also wore her engagement, wedding and eternity rings.

Kate was escorted for part of the visit by Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie of Luxembourg. Kate wore a coatdress by Emilia Wickstead; Stephanie's red ruffled outfit is by Paule Ka.

At the grand ducal palace, Kate was received by more members of the family, including Grand Duke Henri, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, and Princess Alexandra.

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa wore a green ensemble that seems to be a daytime version of her gown from the evening before. She wore pearls with the outfit, including a pearl bracelet with a diamond clasp.

Princess Alexandra wore two-toned earrings and a slim golden cuff bracelet with gem-set ends.
