Several senior members of the British royal family attended the annual Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey this morning. Here's a look at the jewels they wore.

The Queen chose a brooch from one of the Commonwealth realms, the Australian Wattle Brooch.

Here's a closer look at the brooch from today's service. The diamond and platinum brooch was given to the Queen by the People of Australia in February 1954.

The Duchess of Cornwall wore very familiar jewels for the service: her diamond and pearl earrings, plus her pearl necklace with the shield-shaped diamond clasp. Camilla's jewels are serviceable -- and, perhaps most important, they're not pulling focus from the Queen. But I would love to see a bit more variety, as she has some lovely brooches that we've not seen from her in a while!
