#3: Victoria's Nobel Splendor

The annual Nobel Prize ceremony in Stockholm is always one of the most exciting events of the year for royal jewel lovers, and this year, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden gave us a tour-de-force jewel performance.

Victoria wore an unusual diadem, the large Napoleonic Cut-Steel Tiara, which manages to sparkle mightily without a single diamond.

The real virtuoso decision, though, was the pairing of the steel tiara with other jewels from the same era: pieces from the Cameo Parure. Add in a glorious gown with metallic embroidery, and you've got a truly remarkable jewelry moment! (See even more photos from the event over here!)
