The final event of the Cambridges' tour of India and Bhutan was probably the most highly anticipated of all: their visit to the Taj Mahal in Agra. The grand monument is actually a mausoleum; it was built in 1653 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Kate used her jewelry to make a final nod to the people who have hosted the couple over the past week. She wore the earrings that she purchased during Friday's hike to Tiger Nest in Bhutan.
